Coty…….Interviewed by B97’s Lil Tony.
1.) This question came to me as one day I came into the B97 studio and was TRYING to have a conversation with Coty, and for some reason he just kept looking at this bag of chips in my hand. Coty, if you were sentenced to die…. What would your last meal consist of?... AND DON’T SAY MY CHIPS!.
What no chips it's madness i tell you! Ok for real if i had to choose the last food I would eat it would be a huge steak and fries with A1 sauce. Mouth is watering just thinking about it. Way to go Lil Tony i'm hungry now.
2.) So we know about Coty, the young, sassy, and often flirtatious dude we hear on air on the weekends, but we don’t know about Coty, the man off air. What would you consider is your favorite place to go, or your favorite activities to do in New Orleans?
Well I love the french quarter. No doubt about that and as for my favorite things to do in town well lets see I like to go to the aquarium and the zoo those are at the top of my list but as soon as thats over i go to bourbon to finish of the perfect day in New Orleans.
3.) Well, I have occasionally walked in the studio on you engaging in a conversation with a number of young ladies over the B phone, and was like “ok umm girlfriends”??LOL I’m kidding. But what would you say would be the perfect night with your significant other??
Ok i have to say i'm alittle romantic and no one can get mad at me for that. It would start out at ZEA the food there is grrrreat! then maybe a moonlit stroll at the river front and then it would probably end up on Bourbon. I know i have a problem.
4.) You’ve mentioned so many things to me you would like to do with your life, aspiring radio d.j., World class Sudoku champion, and even dirty night club owner, but I want to lay all those ideas on the table now and ask you, What do you want to do when you grow up?
Well ok my goal is to be an actor. The silver screen calls my name or well at least it sounds like my name.
5.) Look around the room you are in now. Ok... umm get in a room than. You in?? Ok tell me the first picture you see?
Me and my friends at the aquarium we all blew off work one day and went it was alot of fun and spur of the moment I was very happy and i looked like i was in a sharks mouth i will have to show everybody one day.
6.) If you had “ONE BILLLLLION DOLLLARS”, what would you splurge on??
Oh wow i would buy cars wait thats selfish i would give to charity and then i woud by cars a viper. Yeah thats right daddy wanna go fast!
7.) If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I have thought about this one alot I would want to fly. Because gas is crazy even if it going down.
8.) What if your favorite place to eat, it could be anything from home cooked food, restaurant, or even gas station food.
Chateau Martin, my dads house because he keeps me in steaks, fries and A1. As you may know that would be my dying meal.
9.) We will keep you identity hidden, because we know you’re a very secretive person, but why did you pick the radio name Coty, if that is your name.
Well as secretive as you may think i am that is my real name. Well it's my middle name I was always called that from birth. Funny story i was called that all my life and then the first day of school came and then they decide to tell me that Coty was my middle name and that i should answer to my first name.
10.) Final question, (looks at the clock, THANK YOU I CAN FINALLY GET AWAY FROM COTY). ANYWHO, what reality show would you give you anything to compete on, and do you think you’d have a shot to win? (Answer fast, the engine is running kiddo).
I love New York! I would do that show in a heart beat because i wanna be famous and isn't that why everybody got on that show. Oh wait did I jus mess up my chances with new york. Dang-it!
Yeah it's me "Weekend Man" if your driving along and you hear someone say something funny chances are it's not me. BURN! Oh wait that was a burn on me.
Anyway my name's Coty I like long walks in the french quarter, I enjoy dancing like no one's watching believe me it's not pretty, you probably shouldn't watch, and I like entertaining people as they listen to the radio.
I'm a big movie buff and I'm a dog lover, but get this - I own a cat. Don't judge.
I like food alot and my pant size shows. Big shout to my boys sporting a 38 waist! Ok more to love is the way to be. Back to the food. No body hurt me but I did not eat shrimp till this year and I just found this thing a couple of years ago you probably never heard of GUMBO! OOOOOO weeeee! Thats the best.
Awe man now I bet your hungry too. And in true southern tradition I like to drink. Wait before you sign me up for AA let me defend myself. Um...yeah...I got nothin. Now thats Coty with a T when your fillin out the form.
But all aside, my passion is the radio. I love to talk. Just look how long this bio is. But also I love to just ride around listening to the music. It really makes you happy when your ridin' around with B97 cranked up as loud as your speakers will go just nodin'. True story.
