A Town Has Completely Banned Kids 16 & Older From Trick-or-Treating

The question is how old is to old for Trick-or-Treating?

First off Halloween is a made up day, it's like asking how old is it to get a Valentines day card and candy. There is no age limit on that. I think if you're in the sprit of Halloween and you go out and walk around the neighborhood and you dress up, for one thing it's great exercise and another thing it's a great way to get out and meet your neighbors. Lets all be honest half of the candy that your kids get end up on top of the fridge in some Halloween bowl or ends up getting thrown away. So in the end it gets wasted anyway. So why not hand out candy to older kids and adults. At least you know they'll eat it or bring it work. It wont go to waste.

I think if you're not a jerk about it and you're not pushing over little kids to get to the candy, there should be no reason kids over 16 and adults shouldn't be able to Trick-or-Treat. It's crazy to me to ban high school kids from free candy. Calm down it's just candy!!!
