Why me??

I've always wished I could find a stray animal and keep it and love it. Today it happened, except I can't keep it. My best friend's dog had puppies and I'm keeping on so the kitten that was brought to my house today can't stay.
I called my vet and they will take it but it makes me feel so sad. Look at this sweet face!
