Madonna has released her second single off her new album MDNA, but she had to do some tweaking to it to keep Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis off of her back. At least that's what Joe is saying.
The song was originally called Girls Gone Wild and Joe threatened to sue if she didn’t change the title. His threats even kept her from performing that song during the Super Bowl.
Madonna just simply changed the title to Girl Gone Wild, but Joe isn’t happy with that. He told TMZ, "Clearly her label was trying to avoid legal action, but the new title is still infringement as far as the law is concerned, and we have been in touch with Madonna's people in an effort to resolve this issue."
Madonna's manager Guy Oseary denies that Joe is the reason that they changed the song name. He said that Madonna doesn’t even know who Joe is and only changed the title because of the way that she sings it in the song.
