Do you have this problem?? I wake up some mornings with a wet face because of this! It's crazy, it must be because of sleeping very heavy. When you are worn out you sleep very deeply. I hope I'm not the only one who has done this! Hit me back if you have or I'm gonna think I have issues:)
Just came across a tv show that I didn't think I'd like all that much. Now a week later and into the 2nd season I'm officially HOOKED!! It's HOTEL BABYLON.. It is a pretty interesting show sex, drama, and a little bit of everything else. It's an English show originally aired on the BBC so if you've had your fill of Simon or any of the other peeps now on american TV you may wanna skip it! But if you are in the mode for something fun and not to heavy check it out on Netflix... Let me know what you think..
For some reason in the past few months these songs have come back to life!! Which one are you into?? The WOP is like the HOTTEST song on Chalmette.. Anytime you go to Daq Paradise it's the only song everyone asks for!! Wobble is huge in other circles.. It's top 15 with itunes in New Orleans and getting hotter!!

A few days ago I think it was 10/11/11 all across the country college radio stations where holding a day celebrating college radio... My question is WHY? Except for a few college stations in the area like KSLU on the north shore who actually have people that thrive on wanting to be in radio and want to make it in this busniess. I really don't know what college radio purposes are in 2011?!?!!? Many college radio stations are focused on being sooo far out in space with the music they play, only the dj playing the song knows who it is (or cares)! Give us a format that isn't currently on the in the city... It maybe jazz, dance, or ALT. rock, but god isn't the purpose of radio is to have people listen?? New Orleans college radio is totally unlisteneable!!! When was the last time you tuned your dial to anything under 92.1??? It's just unreal:(
I don't know why but I was really excited about the TV show PAN AM.. I don't know why but the coming attractions seemed cool?!?! Now that I wasted 60 minutes of my life I'm pissed... Why would a network like ABC waste it's time and money on the non-sense?? I would think after a show like Desparate House Wives something big should follow!! This shouldn't even be on the Lifetime Network (not that I watch it). I'd rather watch the Cartoon Network?!?! Any way stay clear of Sunday Night (the 9pm hour)on ABC soooooo sad:(

Everybody knew Drew and the Crew had to hit hard and hit often. We had to come out of the gate with a bang!! There is no way the Who Dat Nation could be happy with a 0-2 start on the season! Could you imagin the up rise if that happen??? It would have been hell on earth! Thank god we don't need to worry about that and we should be 2-1 by next week cause really the Texans??!! First there was Lady Gaga.. We get it she's supposed to dress wild, be out there, get noticed! Then all of a sudden normal Nicki Minaj is dressing like a damn crazy person.. Almost like Lady Gaga di about 2 years ago...WHY???? Then Kate Perry starts dressing like she's in cartoons?!?!?! Just this past Sunday she had a block of cheese on her head for the MTV VMAs. Plus, I just saw a picture of her dressed up in a little drummer boy outfit!! What is going on here?!?!? Then, guess who comes to save the day? Rihanna!! She was dressed like a superstar... in a power outfit!! Looking great.. She doesn't have to have a block of cheese on her head or anything crazy like that! I hope the pop stars get it together and dress the part.. The little ones are watching!
This marsh fire was bad enough yesterday... But, today it really could harm people with breathing issues!! Why can't they wait until the wind is blowing over a NON populated area of the city? Whoever is in charge of this should be fired with no questions!! This is not good and somebody should get to the bottom of this ASAP!!

After a trip back to see my family this past weekend, I noticed it's happening all over the place.. When your flight is at C-15, or A-22 they make you pass everyone of the stores in that terminal...Is it just my imagination or do the airlines do this on purpose?? They want you to walk past every one of their stores and possibly buy something... I don't remember it being this bad before. On Friday Night in Atlanta I had to go from A-49 all the way to T-1 after a 20 minute walk to a terminal I didn't even know they had before, and a tram ride I got there. Oh I didn't buy anything!!! LOLOLOL.. Is it just me or have you have this experience?
WOW this summer has been LARGE in concerts!! From Britney, Katy, now the Script!! It's great to know all of these artists are so happy to hang out with their fans!! Some are SOOOOOOO NOT:) I won't mention names but the band I'm talking about rhymes with Bings Of Feon! As you can tell you haven't heard from them in a while and they may never have another top 40 hit?!?!! It just goes to show you that being nice all the way around is the best way to be.... Plus, if your a rude ass to the audience they will NOT be having it!!!

When I first hear this song a few weeks ago I thought it was going to be bigger than anyother song Bruno has ever done.. A few weeks later it hasn't caught the fire that I thought it would have.. Question is why? Are you getting alittle tired of Bruno? Is Eminem in the song a factor? Will it be big but is just taking a little longer? So many questions.. Alot of people say.... People do stupid things and are more violent when it's hot out... I say HELL YES they do. The weather right now is INSANE... All over the country but really here in New Orleans it's so damn humid it's nutz!!! Do you work outside are you effected by this everyday??
I really wish sometimes that Rihanna would take a vacation!! How about a year... No Rihanna for 52 weeks, that would be cool.. But then it seems that everytime she puts out a song it's a different kind of song!! Sometimes she is slow, hip hoppy, then dance, and sometimes she blows your mind!! I still think she is a great artist but needs to take sometime off....

I have to say my visit today at the DMV office on the Westbank right near the Harvey Tunnel was amazing. It was 2:30pm and I SWEAR I was in and out of there getting my registration renewed (you know that little sticker thing on your license!!) in less then 10 minutes!! I should write a book about the DMV... The best advise i can give you is that you should go at a weird hour... I want at 2:30pm Lunch is over NOBODY there and the people working were nice!!! MAYBE THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR?!?!?! Seriously just a piece of advice go at off hours and best of luck!!

I thought the world was coming to an end! That was my first reaction when at about 9:25pm New Orleans time NBC broke in to the Celb. Apprentice with a split screen and the tones went DING DING DING(NBC tones sound) It said the the President would address the nation and world in 5 minutes.. WHAT?!?!?!?!!?!? Unless it is earth shattering news NO president is going to address the nation and WORLD at 10:30pm EDT on a Sunday Night!! So at that point I had to switch to CNN and they still didn't know why the president was going to address the nation. They did say it is HUGE and would effect National Security... SO I'm thinking one of two things.. One (not good) an astriod is going to hit earth in the next day or so.... Two (really good) they caught or killed Osama Bin Laden... But for about 10 minutes I was really sweating and heartbeating really fast!! I'm like wow WHAT THE %^**?!?! So in the end we all know what happened and how!! Thank god it wasn't the first possibility:)

WTH???? So last night during the tv show "THE EVENT" On NBC Cox cable went out.... Not sure if this was EVERYWHERE or just a few different places but it SUCKED!! It was also during the last half of the basketball tourny! Bottom line I had to resort to playing "Angry birds" and going to the gym to pass the time..

I had a conversation with a rep from her record company today and they informed me that Lady Gaga will NOT be doing any meet & greets before and after her show. That means to me that Lady gaga doesn't want to meet her fans. I may be wrong but I think that really sucks... I have meet "THE ROLLING STONES" in Vegas they didn't think they we're to big to meet fans.. If ANYBODY could be to big they would be the one's I would so OK, they are huge!

There are tons of bands and VERY TALENTED people who will never be on B97 and may never be on commercial radio. The awards last night showed that the Grammy's doesn't, and NEVER will be swayed by just what is popular on the radio, sales, and what's happenening right now. I have had countless people call today and ask me who the F*%$K is Esperanza Spalding?? But I do have to say "JUSTIN BIEBER" should have won best new artist.. You may disagree, and even curse at me.. BUT! When it comes to selling records (downloads), creating such a HUUUUUGE BUZZ, and getting people so passionate about music again.. I think the ACADEMY shot themselves in the foot! How many CD's will Justin sell and how many will Esperanza Spalding sell?? Plus the Academy Of Music loves talking smack about RADIO.. Well without RADIO there would be no more ACADEMY!! And really?? does Esperanza have a 3-D movie out??

One year ago this week this city was INSANE!! It was 2-7-10 that the Saints won the first ever Superbowl for the city of New Orleans.. What a special time (in a good way) it was for everyone in the area. Besides a hurricane in February (not likely) this is the only thing that could EVER put Mardi Gras on the back burner. It felt like nobody even cared about Mardi Gras cause we all had one thing on our mind... WIN!! Just writing this brings goose bumps to my arms and body!! The city went nuts that night and even with another Superbowl win down the line will probably never feel the same way!! For a few days it felt like EVERYBODY in this city was one and there was no crime or issues!! It was great and I'll always rememeber that.... WHO DAT!! CHAMPS IN 2012!!
